Peacefulness of country. Meadowlarks. Wild roses in hedgerows. Hay rides. Lots of space and fun we had. Chores too. Pleasure of missing school when road between bridge and Trim Road was flooded. Embarrassment of riding my bicycle into the back of a parked car in Port Guichon & having to walk the rest of the way to school in Ladner.
